The Las Vegas Strip is four and a half miles long, from Mandalay Bay to the Strat - if you could walk straight up the boulevard, but you can't walk straight up (or down) the boulevard.

The walk is through hotels, up stairs, down stairs, up and down escalators (that will likely be out of order) and across overpasses.

You could take the
Deuce Bus - it's overcrowded and slow but if you can get one of the four seats in front upstairs, you will be treated to a casual view of the Strip - otherwise you won’t see much, as the windows are covered in external ad wraps.

There’s the
Monorail - it 's fairly quick making ten stops along the east side of the Strip, but the walk to the station can literally be up to a half mile navigating through a casino to the loading platform upstairs.

Uber or Lyft - You'll walk through parts of the resort and parking garage you never knew, or wanted to know, existed.

Taxi - may be the best way to get there (I don’t like taking taxis either) but they are allowed to pick up and drop off at convenient locations outside the front of the resorts.

Vegas Loop - the underground 'Tesla' system is an option but for now only if you're at Resorts World, Fontainebleau, Encore or Westgate and want to get to any other of those hotels from 7am to 9pm).
