BLVD
In progress - Opening Early 2025
Set to open in 2025 on the site of the former Hawaiian Marketplace is a three story development featuring premium stores and restaurants. The 400,000-square-foot retail center will include two levels focusing on retail and a top floor that will include a 110,000-square-foot dining terrace.

Hard Rock Hotel
Target Opening: Spring 2027
Location: A giant lighted guitar shaped hotel with six beams of light depicting strings firing into the sky will be built, replacing the iconic Mirage. MGM will operate the Mirage as is for up to three years while the new hotel and resort are completed.
Brightline Hight Speed Rail
Target opening: 2028
A $4.8 billion project for an electric, high-speed train connecting the 170 miles from Southern California (Victorville) to the south Las Vegas strip. Federal funding of $3 billion provides probability of the pruject coming to fruition.

Heading 5
Category 10 Restaurant by Luke Combs
Target opening: Fall 2026
Category 10, a country-themed venue from country star Luke Combs, will replace Margaritaville at the Flamingo on the Strip. Margaritaville closed in May 2024. Country is developing a presence on the Strip, this being the third major establishment after Garth Brooks' Ol' Red and Jason Aldeen's.

The Las Vegas Loop Expansion
Target opening: Various
2.3 miles and 5 stations are now operational at the Convention Center and Resorts World, with Encore and Westgate hotel stations in progress. A total of 68 miles of tunnel and 93 stations have been approved for stations as far south as Blue Diamond Road where the Brightline West high-speed rail station is planned.

Las Vegas A's Stadium
Target opening: 2028 Season
Construction on the Oakland Athletics’ Las Vegas ballpark is scheduled to begin in April 2025 and be completed in January 2028.
Evel Knievel Museum
Expected completion 2027
Artifacts and media from the daredevil who attempted more than 75 motorcycle jumps and other death-defying feats. Memorabilia and interactive exhibits including a virtual reality jump experience. This museum is moving to Downtown Las Vegas from Topeka, Kansas. https://www.evelknievelmuseum.com/
Skyline Project
Expected completion late 2025-26
A $50 million campus at the 215 near the Flamingo Road exit, to feature boutique shops . The basement level will house a private wine cellar and tasting rooms. The second level will have an event center, a high-end restaurant, café, wine cellar, and speakeasy The third floor will be a steakhouse.

Midtown Las Vegas
First phase October 2025, Expected completion 2030
Developer Z-Life Company has plans for 'Midtown', a mixed-use development to be located in the Arts District. The project will include 3,000 upscale residential units and 100,000 square feet of commercial space. The low-rise condominium residences will provide luxurious living and rental prices approximately 20% lower than traditional models.

Las Vegas Spaceport
(Las Vegas Executive Airport) No completion date set
With the the construction of the Las Vegas Executive Airport in Pahrump on the 240-acre site near Area 51 is planned to be a launchpad and runaway for spaceplanes, a control tower, a flight school, a post-high school STEM academy and, of course, will include a 200-room resort/casino.

Electric Pickle
Expected completion: Fall 2025
Pickleball is coming to The Bend, the new outdoor shopping and dining complex in the southwest valleys. It will cover three acres with nine pickleball courts, a two-story restaurant and rooftop bar. There will also be live music, cornhole and bocce ball courts.

LVXP Entertainment Venue
Proposed with Expected completion: 2028
LVXP, although still in early stages appears to be a legitimate project at the 27-acre site on the North Strip (between Sahara and Fontainebleau), long considered the location for the now unsuccessful Allnet project. Clark County has granted use permits, design waivers, and zoning approval and the FAA has cleared height restrictions. This project is to include three hotel/condo towers, an 18,000-seat NBA-ready arena, casino, retail and convention space.

"A new kind of hotel" to be developed in collaboration with Airbnb, with 4 or 5 floors and 303 rooms or condominiums - a seven-minute drive from Allegiant Stadium. Status: Applying for building permit
Bleutech Park
Target opening: Proposed
A $7.5 billion mixed-use environment project to feature a net zero carbon footprint. It will be home to luxury residential towers, hotels, offices, retail and the tallest entertainment tower in Las Vegas all with renewable energies.
Atari Hotel
Target Opening: 2022 (No Updates)
The video game-themed Atari Hotel developers are still in talks for potential sites with 5 to 7 acres near the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel would have 400 rooms and a possible casino offering an experience “inspired by, and built with, classic and modern video game culture…”

ALLNET PROJECT
Target opening: STALLED
Long delayed development for a 23,000-seat arena, non-gaming hotel, shopping, restaurants and more. Approved in 2014, received a 2-year extension in 2020 calling for construction to begin by 2022. Further approval denied in December 2023.


Moon Resorts
Target Opening: 2027
Location: Fronting Trump Tower
A 1/75,00th size replica of the moon with 4,000 rooms, the usual amenities plus a nightclub with a spaceship, and an "active lunar colony".



South Strip
Entertainment District
Target Opening: Undisclosed
Location: South Strip at Blue Diamond Rd
Proposed is a $3 billion complex featuring a 20,000-seat arena that could serve as the home for an NBA team and a casino-hotel.
Dream Hotel
Target Opening: Stalled
Location: Across from Bali Hai golf club, between the Pinball HOF and Harley Davidson on South Strip, bordering McCarren airport. The 20 story hotel casino will have 531 rooom and cost $500 million. Construction was stopped in early 2023 due to 'financing issues'.
Tilman Fertitta Casino
Target Opening: 2026
The owner of the Houston Rockets and Golden Nugget Casino downtown plans a 43 story, 2,420-room hotel and casino with villas, auto showroom and 2,500 seat theater to be built on the 6 acre plot at the southeast corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Harmon Ave, former location Travelodge and Tex Mex Tequila Bar & Grill.

Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Studios
Nevada's film tax credit program Defeated
Warner Bros. plans partnership with UNLV to establish film and TV studios and workforce development program at UNLV’s Harry Reid Research & Technology Park on proposed 34-acre campus. Sony Pictures has proposed building a movie studio to be located in Summerlin.


MAJESTIC
Target opening: 2027
Originally scheduled to open in 2006, this often postponed $850 million, 45-story, non-gaming business-focused hotel will be located near the Convention Center on the former Clarion site. Groundbreaking was scheduled for July 2021.
